Amazing and quick tasty pastries from PKU puff pastry. Great thing is that whoever wants them in salted version, can only change the filling. E.g. tomato filling as a pizza pastries, or cheese and vegan cream filling.
Suroviny:
PKU puff pastry
12.5g Vanilla Pudding (I´m using the brand BioVegan)
125ml LP drink
10g sugar
Egg yolk - not required. Brush with beaten egg yolk if desired (it gives the dough a nice golden colour)
This recipe is exceptional as you can just take the dough out of the fridge or freezer :)
Roll out the dough (not too much as it is already thin enough in the finished /bought state).
Pour the LP drink into the pan and add the sugar and pudding. Bring to a boil and the filling is done.
Cut the strawberries or any other fruit you´d like to use as a filling.
You can make the pastry manually. However, I have used tescoma creative tools to make desired shape - pic below:
5. Brush with egg yolk (it gives the dough a nice golden colour) - not required.
6. Start baking (depending on which brand of a dough you use), at how many degrees and for how long you should bake for is written on the package. Best known PKU puff pastry brands are balviten a bezgluten.
