Dumplings


Ingredients:


160g cooked potatoes

160g Damin flour

pinch of salt

10g sour cream

little bit of water for kneating a douch


Filling examples:

sweet or sour cabbage

potatoes mixed with greek style cheese Violife

jam




Postup:

  1. Boil the potatoes in their skin, cool them, peel them and make a mashed potatoes with a fork or a potato masher.

  2. Add flour, salt, sour cream and start kneating process. Add little bit of water as it will help you to get the right doungh consistency.

  3. Dough consistency in the picture below:


4. Roll out the dough evenly into a thin texture and form dumplings, either with the help of a dumpling maker or by hand.





5. Let it cook in boiling water, and when the dumplings float to the surface, cook for another 7-10 minutes.


6. Add butter on the top, vegan sour cream or any topping of your choice and bon apettit!
